Mapro Garden is one of the prime attractions near Mahabaleshwar. If you are somebody who has a green thumb or somebody who likes the idea of kitchen garden or farms then you are in for a treat. Mapro Garden is set-up by the fruit processing company Mapro.

Where is it located? It is 11km from Mahabaleshwar and 7kms from Panchgani. 

How do we get there? Preferred mode would be car/taxi and there is plenty of parking around Mapro Garden.

What is it famous for? This is definitely the best place to visit when on a trip to Mahabaleshwar or Panchgani. It is famous for-

-For the beautiful flower garden.

-For the dedicated shopping area for Mapro products, which includes jellies, candies, chocolates to squash, jam, honey. It even has free tasting counters for lot of these products. Its heaven for kids.

-For an amazing eatery, which is slightly overpriced but the food quality is good. The bestsellers are Shakes and Strawberry with Fresh cream.

-For the strawberry and vegetable farms that surround the Mapro garden. You can pluck and get farm fresh strawberries.

-You can get Strawberries, mulberries, raspberries and some fresh vegetables from the vendors across the road as well.

-Three day Strawberry festival to promote cultivation of strawberries, you can checkout the dates on google.

-You get a bonus tour to icecream making, khakhra and bread making.

-The tour is free of cost

Best time to visit? Best time to visit is around Mar-May when the strawberries are ripe for picking up.
