Overnight Oats
After a really long time, let me continue with my Oats recipes series. Today’s recipe is Overnight Oats. This is a go-to breakfast for me. It is easy to prepare(its a no cooking recipe), its a powerhouse of nutrition and delicious too, what more does one expect. So without much adieu lets get started.
To prepare overnight oats-
1. Take 4tablespoons rolled oats in a glass
2. Add chia seeds, flax seeds, pumpkin seeds, sesame seeds(as per your taste and availability of these)
3. Add yogurt or plain milk to the dry mixture of oats and seeds(I love yogurt but in this I prefer milk)
4. cover the glass and keep it in the fridge overnight
5. Next morning take out the glass. By now oats will be soaked and soft.
6. Add nuts and fruits to the overnight oats
7. Voila! your breakfast is ready
Additional tips-
You can add honey or jaggery to make it sweet. I do not prefer sugar so its a no from my side.
For fruits you can add, apples, banana, chikoo. It is not recommended to add citrus fruits if you are using milk.
To make it more interesting you can even add chocolate syrup or peanut butter.
