Enjoying the movie parade..:)
And the movie parade continues...4 days 4
movies...Philadelphia, Pan Singh Tomar, Kahanii and 3 idiots (revisited). Still
wonder how could I have possibly remained ignorant about Philadelphia and
missed out on it...and that too when it had been residing in my hard disk since
like forever. Movie starring Tom Hanks and Denzel Washington talks about an
AIDS infected homosexual who sues a big law firm for firing him on the grounds
of these issues. The movie is a must watch for the performances of the actors so
if you are a movie buff and by any chance have been ignorant like me do buy the
DVD or get it online and watch it right away.
Next, Pan Singh Tomar and Kahani had their own very
different flavours to be offered...on one hand Pan Singh will make you feel all
sort of emotions with Indianism..you’ll feel proud at the protagonist, angry at
the system and remorseful at what happened to him and on the other hand Kahani
will make you sit at the edge of the seat throughout the movie, you would not
want to blink ur eyes for even a second...and I can bet that u will experience
moments where you will even skip a beat or two during the movie...must say
bollywood has moved a step forward in terms of storytelling....Both the movies
are again a must watch. Watch Pan Singh Tomar for Irfan Khan and for every
sportsperson who did not receive, what they truly deserved, at the end and
watch Kahani for a good mystery and thrill....
There are very few movies no matter after how many months or
years you watch them again they are still able to strike the same chord...and 3
Idiots is one from this category...it came as a surprise today, screened by
film club of the college...even after 3 years the movie is still a hit....being
the last days of our college when the only activity you feel like doing is
‘doing nothing’...one of the best creation by Raju Hirani featuring my
favourite actor...although have watched it several times...I would still not
have missed it for anything.... and watching it with friends was all the more
fun...
The energy and excitement to
watch the next movie depends a lot on the one that you have seen just
now...hope to continue the parade as lined up next is Christian Bale’s “The Machinist”...:):)
