My First Pubbing Experience

The best plans always turn out to be the ones that had never been planned. It may be due to the element of spontaniety that gives u a sense to release urself to the moment and just enjoy it to fullest.A visit to Zaara’s turned out to be the same. What actually pushed me to go ahead was the not so good experience with Ferrari ki Sawari and the long unplanned boring weekend that was lying ahead. Zaara’s is an Irish Pub in the heart of Chennai and is now testimony to my first pubbing experience though many of you might not exactly treat it as a pubbing experience (people usually dnt go to eat n have mocktails in pub..rite!!:D:D) . The place is not something that I would have ever expected in city of Chennai and now is the time to apologise to stereotype the city  as something that a usual North Indian thinks of “Madras”.There were more foreigners in there than you would find in one single place anywhere in India. The loud music, people singing and swaying  to it with drinks in their hands seemed everybody out there had nothing to be bothered about outside the world of Zaara’s. People were yelling, they were dancing and enjoying it to the peak. After trying out a few delicacies which did match my expectations from the place we got up from our places and danced for sometime despite the fact that there was hardly any place to budge our limbs. The photographers from Zaara’s were at work clicking pics of guests randomly and we did happen to be those random guests who get our pics clicked and to our  amusement and utmost surprise few of our pics even found place in next day’s Chennai Times Page3. It could not have been better was the thought each of us had while looking at those pics.Though to our disappointment, the fun ended quite early due to the regulations to close all the pubs and discotheques by 11pm. But we were in no mood to let it end so early and so abruptly. So, went to a friends place 2 have a round of ice cream milkshake prepared by Sid and then went  to the terrace to enjoy cool breeze with the tune of guitar played by one of our friends. The day ended singing and humming  the tunes of beautiful bollywood numbers with a promise to meet next day at brunch cooked by me:D:D
