Day 5...#30DayHealth Challenge

 


Weekends bring with them lot of temptation. You want to go out and have all the delicious calorie laden food or invite friends over for the same. Atleast I want to. However I decided to stay in and enjoy cooking.
My baby still in her "wake- up-early" and "cling-on- to-mommy" phase so no morning workout. But managed to go for some evening walk with her which got disrupted by rains. Seems like the universe is conspiring against me.

Breakfast- Cucumber Tomato Sandwich,Banana, Milk with dry fruits, flax seeds and Protein powder

Mid morning snacks- Sattu with honey and pinch of salt(you can even use jaggery)

Lunch- Chaach, Soya mix Veg, Daal, Salad and Roti. For Soya mix veg I used soya nuggets majorly with some corn, cauliflower, peas, basically most healthy options I had in my fridge.
Salad was Quinoa, chickpeas and vegetable salad(zucchini, tomato, carrot, cucumber) with some salt, olive oil, vinegar and walnut dressing. I prepared it for the first time and it turned out to be good.

Evening snacks- Milk with Protein powder and Apple

Dinner- Multigrain Vegetable Daliya with some leftover soya mix veg and Nariyal chutney
