Day 8...#30DayHealth Challenge







Yesterday being the completion of week 1 of the health challenge, I decided to get on the weighing scale. And yayy!!!the scale moved  in favour of the health challenge though only slightly. But its only a week, lets wait till the end:)
Breakfast- Ragi Besan Mix Bhakri, Overnight Oats and Banana
Mid morning snacks- Apple and Juice. No, no, it was not a fruit juice. I always prefer fruits over fruit juice. It was something extreme that I tried today, Karela juice. I had seen my dad have it for a very long time. So just for the fun of it, i thought let me also try..I tried a very dilluted version but trust me, its not easy to gulp it down the throat.
Lunch- Sprouts with cucumber and tomato, bhindi, some left over soya bhaaji, leftover Cheela and Roti. It was a leftover lunch special;)
Evening- Roasted Makhana
Dinner- Kadhi(without pakodas), some leftover bhindi, daal and Roti
Lot of people are asking me, does your husband eat the same food or do you prepare anything extra. Yes, he eats the same food with few minor changes like he he would have kadhi with rice or he would have some aalo sabzi on the side or he would have something for dessert. Reiterating, it is normal simple home cooked food with more focus on proteins and less carbs and zero sugar and any added masala or oil. Also I am not compromising on taste. So anybody can have it:)
