Born into Choice

“Privilege is invisible to those who have it” I recently read the Booker Prize–winning Heart Lamp and watched Dhadak 2, and both made me pause to reflect on my privilege. No matter how much I complain about daily struggles, the truth is—I live with advantages many in the world are denied. I may not have extreme material wealth, but I do have the wealth of freedom: freedom of choice, basic human rights, and access to opportunities that make life easier. We don’t choose the families we’re born into, and being born into one that allows these privileges is something to be deeply grateful for.  My take on the film and the book- Both are definitely worth your time.
